Inclusive Feeding Support for all Families
"There is no way to be a perfect parent, but a million ways to be a good one."
About Me
Hello! My name is Kara Rosales. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. My interest in helping families feed their infants started when I had my children and realized that I had a much more fulfilling experience the second time around due to the level of support that I sought out and received sooner and more consistently during that feeding journey. I became a La Leche League Leader in 2010, and passed my IBCLC board exam in 2015.
I offer home and virtual consultations around the DFW metroplex including Grand Prairie, Arlington, Irving, Dallas, Fort Worth, Keller, Hurst, Bedford, Rowlett, Rockwall, North Richland Hills, Mansfield, Burleson, Midlothian, Duncanville, DeSoto, Haltom City, Richardson, Saginaw, Carrollton, Colleyville, Grapevine, Southlake, Flower Mound, Pantego, Dalworthington Gardens, Las Colinas, and Farmers Branch.
I strive to be inclusive of all family types, infant feeding styles and goals, and the comfort of the families that I serve. I enjoy talking about lactation, infant feeding, solid food feeding, and infant sleep.
I have extensive training and education in assessing for tongue ties, the rehabilitation of the tongue and mouth after the release of oral restrictions, pumping milk, bottle feeding, and infant reflexes related to feeding and beyond.
I also wanted to send a deep note of gratitude and many thanks for all of your support along our breastfeeding journey. I actually just weaned S (she's 18 months now!) and am so grateful we were able to make it through. We couldn't have done it without your support and encouragement in those early days. Thank you!!
