About Me

How I Began and Where I’m Headed

In 2007, I gave birth to my first child. I felt that feeding my baby was about more than nourishment, it was about nurturing them as well. During my postpartum experience, I was in awe at the support I received from my community. Inspired to support families in a similar way, I became a La Leche League Leader and with the help of two amazing mentors, went on to become a board-certified lactation consultant.

I now have two children that have taught me that everyone deserves open-minded, evidence-based care for their unique family and choices in feeding their infants and toddlers.
I consider it a gift to help families overcome obstacles and reach their individual goals with breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, and all stages of parenting.

My goals are to continue learning and growing as a spouse, parent, lactation consultant, and human. I would love to get a certification in infant sleep eventually, and my long long term goal is to open a store for infant feeding accessories and breast pump parts.

I also wanted to send a deep note of gratitude and many thanks for all of your support along our breastfeeding journey. I actually just weaned S (she's 18 months now!) and am so grateful we were able to make it through. We couldn't have done it without your support and encouragement in those early days. Thank you!!
